DUE LATE 2010 - A TRUE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE CLASSIC
HO Scale
This Express Passenger Steam Locomotive was exclusively designed and built by the Victorian Railways and began service back in 1907. The "A2" served until 1963 and with 185 locomotives built it certainly was the highlight of VR motive power.
Precision Scale Models will be reproducing this magnificent steam locomotive in six different versions. Both Walschaerts and Stephenson valve gear will be available in different liveries and also coal and oil burning configurations. The modified front end versions have not been overlooked either.

This particular model is proof that the EMD Bulldog will grace us with it's presence for a long time yet.
To enable our customers to make a choice regarding the versions available, we have placed a version table online and for those who wish may download the file.
Each Victorian Railways "A2" Class Steam Locomotive will have a range of road numbers to select from. The road numbers will be published shortly.
All models will be delivered with Spoked wheels and customers may select BoxPok type wheels for all 1950-1960 Waschaerts models only.
PILOT MODELS HAVE ARRIVED
Precision Scale Models are proud to announce the arrival of the V.R. "A2" Class Steam Locomotive pilot models in Australia. These are the first of the hand-built samples by Ajin of Korea and what a standard they have set. After our project engineers initial review of the models in both Walschaerts and Stephenson valve gear his comment was "WOW."
